Mama Cloth

I have to admit something: I hate the commercialism aspect of Christmas, but at the same time it's kind of a secret (until now) guilty pleasure of mine because I usually get gift cards from family members. I love getting gift cards because I can either use it to buy things we need or splurge some on things that I've wanted for awhile, but probably wouldn't buy for myself unless we had a lot of extra money. That brings me to today's post.
I have been wanting to try some mama cloth forever, especially from Pink Lemonade Shop. I've researched quite a few companies that sell mama cloth and they seem to have the best looking quality for your buck. So, since I had some extra "cash", I finally bought some!
 9 inch pads

As you can see, Pink Lemonade Shop offers lots of cute prints and fun colors in their mama cloth pads. I know, I know. It's just like cloth diapers and you KNOW they are going to get, er, dirty, but who can resist?! More than likely you are going to be using these until they might quite literally fall apart (which should be several, several years), so why not indulge in ones that look nice and suit your personality?
Pink Lemonade Shop also offers a variety of sizes. I was really impressed with the number of options, actually. They range from 6 inch mini pantyliners to 13 inch postpartum pads! You can also get them in 2 1/2 inches or 3 inches through the snap area. I thought this was great because not everyone wears the same style or size of underwear.
Other than reusable pads, Pink Lemonade Shop also sells nursing pads, wet bags, and detergent. I just told my husband that the nursing pads sound so amazing that I want some the next time we have a baby if I'm able to bf for an extended period of time. Seriously. Go check them out HERE. As far as their wet bags, they sell small, more discreet ones for just your mama cloth all the way up to big ones that you could easily use for cloth diapers too if you happen to use them on your baby.
Obviously I am digging my new mama cloth, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this post! I had heard that some people have problems with them bunching, so I was a little worried about that at first. I haven't had any issues, though! This makes me a happy camper because that's one of the main things I hate about disposable pads!
This mama cloth is also super soft and you can't even tell you have it on. This is the 2nd most irritating thing about disposables in my book: They're so scratchy! I really was surprised that I couldn't feel them. It was a nice change! Is there anything more uncomfortable or embarrassing than having to deal with a pad wedgie?
As the picture above indicates, I went with the 9 inch pads. I'm one of those women who likes my feminine products to be extra long, so I will admit that I wish I would have went with some longer ones. But, here's another dirty little secret, I'll mostly be using them with tampons, so it shouldn't be a big deal. It's like a long pantyliner. :)
I highly recommend taking a look at Pink Lemonade Shop if you are considering mama cloth. With all of their print and size options, you can't go wrong! Oh. And the best part is they are affordable!

Disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way for this post. Other than buying, using, and liking their products, I have no affiliation with Pink Lemonade Shop. I just like sharing products with others that I like and think they would too!
