Personalized Children's Books from KD Novelties Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Hey folks! I have an awesome children's book review for you today from KD Novelties! They specialize in personalized children's gifts, such as books, dvds, music, and more. We recently had the opportunity to review one of their personalized children's books, which was great because Myka and I both love books so much!
KD Novelties has a wide selection of books to choose from to personalize with categories ranging from Disney and Sesame Street to holiday and religious. Since Myka is still not terribly into storybooks yet and potty training days will be upon us before we know it, I decided to go with a potty training book. It's not an actual guide on how to potty train your child, so don't be confused like my husband was. ;) It is simply a book to help children understand it better and make it less stressful.
I love that Myka has her own book "all about her" because one of my aunts gave me a personalized book like this when I was young and I still have it to this day. In fact, KD Novelties still has the exact same book! I'm sure my daughter won't be interested in a book about potty training forever, even if it does have her name in it, so I definitely plan on purchasing more of these personalized books in the future!
Myka LOVES getting new books and this one was no different. I thought it was especially cool that my husband sat down to read this with her. (He's not really used to kids besides our daughter, so he's still "getting used" to doing things as simple as this.) She actually let him read the whole thing to her too, which she hardly ever does with me!
I really liked this book because it has colorful illustrations for younger children to enjoy and it's not too wordy so kids don't get distracted as easily. I also liked that in most (if not all) of the books I perused on their site you can include other family members and friends in the stories as well! For instance, I (mommy) am the mommy bear who teaches Myka about potty training when she decides she wants to wear panties like Mara (her cousin in real life). Cool, huh?
I highly recommend checking out KD Novelties if you're looking for a unique and special gift for a child. You really can't go wrong with personalized items, even if you aren't sure what a child "is into". You could find anything on their site for a great birthday, Christmas, or "just because" gift!
Be sure to stay up to date with KD Novelties on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and their blog page as well HERE.

Disclaimer: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I can see that she is so totally captivated and "into" the book that dad is reading to her :) And the cover art is just right to make it interesting for Myka. Thanks for sharing such a unique book and store here at KidLit BlogHop! Looking forward to more!
