Red Elm Designs Review

Hey folks! Believe it or not, we're already on day 5 of my Birthday Extravaganza Giveaway Event! If you've missed the reviews and giveaways from the first part of the week, be sure to check out my Current Giveaways page.
We're moving right along with today's review sponsored by Red Elm Designs on Etsy. They specialize in creating fun crayon designs made fromm 100% recycled Crayola crayons. They also offer recycled notebooks and bottle cap necklaces, which make colorful and unique gifts!

Red Elm Designs was generous enough to allow us to review a set of their barn shaped crayons, which went along great with Myka's farm themed birthday party! You can find just about any shape/design imaginable, including ice cream cones, holiday themed crayons, such as haunted houses and snowmen, firetrucks, and teapots, just for starters. With so many to choose from, these would make great party favors for a child's birthday or holiday party or just a fun way to mix things up for everyday coloring!

Red Elm Designs also offers a variety of sets, so you can purchase as little or as many as you need or want! You can order a simple set of 12 or a party set of up to 125 crayons! This is great if you are using them for unique party favors and trying to stay within a certain budget too.

I really like and am impressed with the crayons we received from Red Elm Designs. The chunky designs make them easy for little hands to hold. (Again, my daughter just turned two, so they're perfect for children her age.) I think even older children (and the young at heart!) will get a kick out of the fun designs.

I also liked that the crayons are individually packaged in case, again, you are using them as party favors. The way I look at it, that cuts out one step for you in the party planning process. :) Speaking of which, since Myka only turned two and I wasn't sure how many kids there were going to be at her party, I didn't plan any games. However, I did use our Red Elm Designs crayons as "kiddie entertainers" during the party in case any of them got bored or restless. Myka and my cousin's 3 year old son were the only ones who ended up coloring and amidst all of the hustle and bustle I forgot to get a picture. :/ He seemed to like them, though, as he went to town on his coloring page! I sent two each home in the kids' goodie bags as well.

You can peruse through all of the recycled crayon sets Red Elm Designs has to offer on their Etsy page and stay up-to-date with them on Facebook. Before you run off, don't forget to head over to the giveaway for your chance to win a $15 gift card to use on Red Elm Designs Etsy store!
