"Ladybugs Have Lots of Spots" Children's Book Review

Hey folks! I have another cute children's book to share with you today. Ladybugs Have Lots of Spots, by Sheryl and Simon Shapiro, combines many of my favorite aspects in young children's books: rhyming, photos of real objects, and educational value.
Ladybugs Have Lots of Spots teaches children all about different round objects, including cylinders and spheres! Children learn that many objects can be round, but not all of them are the same. The book includes photographs of such objects as hula hoops, rings, ladybug spots (of course), and more. I love books that help to teach shapes!
The book also include rhyming which, as I've stated before, I believe helps children remember aspects of books better and what they learned from them. Plus, rhymes are just fun, don't you think?
I'm also a big fan of children's books that include photos of real objects, places, events, etc. While storybooks that are illustrated are fun and I have nothing against them, I believe children have a better time connecting photos they see in books with what they see in their day to day lives.
If you love educational books for toddlers/young children that are written in a way that makes them fun for kids to learn, definitely be sure to check out Ladybugs Have Lots of Spots. You can find it on the publisher's website HERE.
