ColorTime Crafts & Markers Review & Giveaway

If you have been following this blog for any amount of time, you have probably noticed that I LOVE doing crafty things. So, when ColorTime Crafts & Markers contacted me about trying out one of their products, I couldn’t resist!
ColorTime Crafts & Markers has been selling fun, easy, and clean projects for children and adults since 1990. You can purchase all kinds of fun items from them such as t-shirts, tote bags, pillowcases, and much more. The best part is, you (or your kids) can color your own! ColorTime Crafts offers a wide selection of pre-printed products or you can even get wholesale orders with your design (or one their artists come up with). They have also been a licensed Girl Scout vendor for 15 years and are great for birthday parties too.
They also, as their name implies, sell fabric markers. ColorTime Markers are non-toxic, permanent, quick drying, and water and chlorine resistant! Although they are permanent, they easily wash off of your skin. I got a few little marks on the notorious side of the pinky area. I completely forgot about it until much later after I had washed my hands and they were completely gone. So, if you or your child gets any on their hands (it’s inevitable, right?) don’t worry too much. ;)

ColorTime Crafts & Markers sent a Recycle tote bag and 3 fabric markers for me to review. I have to say, even though I’ve colored some with my 3 and 4 year old nieces a few times recently, I had forgotten how relaxing coloring can be. (For me at least. Maybe I’m weird.) It can, of course, be a fun way for younger kids to work on hand eye coordination as well. ColorTime Crafts would also be a great project to work on with older kids on a rainy day. Even if they’re not into coloring as much as when they were little, all kids love making things they can actually use, and these will last for years to come!
Left: As directed, I placed a paper towel inside of the tote in case of any bleeding. Right: There were a few tiny spots where it bled through.

I was kind of surprised by how big the fabric markers are. Not that that’s a bad thing. I found out firsthand that their large size makes it easy for kids to hold. (See picture below.) While we’re talking about markers, these ones are great because they don’t bleed NEARLY as much as normal markers. I followed the directions included with the tote and markers and you can see how little bled through in the picture above.
Somebody thought they were being sneaky grabbing the markers...

The printed lines of ColorTime Crafts products are also on the thicker side. As far as kids coloring these, I think this is great because some little ones can get upset when they color outside of the lines. With the thick lines, little ones should have an easier time coloring within them.
Overall, ColorTime Crafts & Markers are an inexpensive, fun craft to do with the kids. (Or by yourself. : ) ) Be sure to browse through all of their different craft products HERE. You’re bound to find something your child will enjoy. Plus, they are currently having 2 specials they would like me to share with you.

I think it turned out cute! Plus I love making stuff that is functional. :)
